Install the servlet engine/application server software. |

Install the JavaMail API and Java Activation Framework in the servlet engine/application server library directory. |

Create the Connect Daily application directory. |

Unpack the Connect Daily application files in the new directory. |

Edit the configuration.properties file. |

Add the application to your application server configuration. |
|
Add the JDBC Driver files for your database to the application server class path or to the cdaily-3.4.2/WEB-INF/lib directory. |
|
Add mappings for your application to your web server configuration. |
|
Restart the application server if necessary. Restart the web service if necessary. |
|
Configure backup scripts and jobs for the calendar database. |
|
