LOGIC - is a Maryland rapper who recently released his debut album UNDER PRESSURE on October 21st. After debuting number 4 on the Billboard Top 200, the album has been regarded as one of the best rap albums of 2014. After releasing his debut project under Visionary Music Group in 2011, Logic has headlined three national tours and released three mixtapes before the release of UNDER PRESSURE. 24-year old Logic was signed to Def Jam in 2013 by Executive Vice President of A&R, No I.D. (who went on to serve as executive producer of UNDER PRESSURE). The 2013 signing coincided with XXL magazine naming Logic to its ‘Freshman 10’ list, a highly competitive annual survey that showcases the brightest young up-and-coming personalities in hip-hop. Lo. Logic has sold over 50,000 tickets prior to the release of UNDER PRESSURE. He has headlined three national headline tours off of mixtapes alone – selling out venues like The Wiltern in L.A. and Irving Plaza in NYC - and has toured internationally, sharing the stage with Kid Cudi, Big Sean, and more.

Gavin Rossdale is good at giving directions: “The only way out is through,” he sings, pointedly, in the first single from Bush’s new album. This is far from the only time on the band’s sixth release, Man on the Run, that you’ll hear him weighing in with tough-minded sentiments that seem alternately confrontational, compassionate and cautionary. Amid the sense of wonder that pervades Man on the Run is also a distinct warning that survival does not come easy. Surveying the record’s themes, Rossdale puts it this way: “It’s a magical time, but you need a crash helmet. You can fix everything but your head.”

The Expendables enjoyed a laid-back lifestyle growing up in Santa Cruz, CA; surfing, skating, partying, and playing music were commonplace. Since 1997, The Expendables have staked their claim in the California surf/rock genre by headlining venues from coast to coast. Blending Reggae, Punk Rock, and 80s style dueling guitar solos, The Expendables have made heads turn and floors shake for years. The band consists of four longtime friends: Geoff Weers (Guitar and Vocals), Adam Patterson (Drums and Vocals), Raul Bianchi (Lead Guitar) and Ryan DeMars (Bass). The first seven years of their career was fueled with three full-length, completely independent releases. No Time To Worry (2000), Open Container (2001), and Gettin’ Filthy (2004), would bring in a combined total of over 40,000 units sold with no physical distribution and no record label.

He’s referring to his handpicked ensemble, the Jeff Austin Band. The group features long-time collaborator Danny Barnes on banjo and guitar, guitarist Ross Martin, bass player Eric Thorin, and Cody Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars on percussion.

After two decades of writing, recording and touring together, veteran jam band moe. took stock of where they’d been, released a retrospective, then turned the page. Two years later the Northeast-based five-some has opened a new chapter in the moe. story. What Happened To The LA LAs is the band’s first completely new collection since 2008, and while creative evolution has always been a moe. hallmark, What Happened To The LA LAs shows the band stepping outside their comfort zone in some significant ways.

Todd Snider is on the happy back end of happy hour at a favorite East Nashville bar, talking about his new album Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables. “This record doesnʼt come from good times,” Snider says. “I wanted to sound the way I feel, which sometimes means sounding like a broken soul.” On the 10 new songs, Snider doesnʼt talk around the vulnerable part, or the angry part, or the part about how everything weʼre taught about goodness and righteousness and capitalism, about God and family values winds up exploding into violence and chaos, wonder and longing. He might carry the mantle of “storyteller” – itʼs what he titled his live record, after all – but Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables is anything but a nice, folk/Americana troubadour album. Itʼs not a nice anything.
